Anyone interested in joining absoluteavril? preferably an html expert!

Anyway, I feel kind of unexcited now. No anticipation, no nervousness, not even a sense of dread (homework, duh). But I can't wait for horse riding & white water rafting! Okay, now I feel kind dumb for not going to class chalet. I said that I had to pack, which is true, but I could have packed later. I bet that if Jolynn was going, I'd immediately abandon my suitcases and go together with her. I'm such a coward. Nevermind, it's over and it seems like they had fun, from Baihui's lj. I promise to put aside all my classes and appointments to go for next year's.

The holidays this year have been rather .. lonely. I did get to go out with a lot of old pals which is fantastic cos I won't get to see much of them during the new school year. I think I've seen much too much of Valerie chewww already, we're both sick of each other. Also managed to see 3 classmates for 2 weeks, but it just wasn't the same. Who asked the nerds to go and pick Math? But I'm REALLY grateful to Jamie for persuading me to pick Expository! That woman rocks! & also, for making me quit Creative, so I was able to make a friend who I somehow feel will really keep in touch.

As for the homework department, well, we don't really need to go into that. But admittedly, I think I have accomplished a tiny bit more than my slacker friends.

Erm, this is going to sound stupid, but does songwriting involve knowing the notes/chords and stuff? Cos I think songwriting is really cool - just writing the words. If coming up with the melody is included, then I won't be able to pick up a new hobby. Heh.

Before I leave, I would like to go and urge you guys to read A home at the end of the world. by michael cunningham.Really really good book, but you will have to read between the lines a lot. I didn't understand a lot fo the symbolism, but it's very compelling with a fascinating concept, like Picoult's books but even better. Oh and check out Angela Aki, whose a Jap singer rasied in Hawaii, she has the most amazing voice!
